Carers MK has support groups, specialist training and social events to help and support carers in their caring role. In addition it provides emotional support, advice, information, advocacy and relaxation treatments.

Carers MK supports all carers looking after someone who has any kind of illness, disability or additional need with specific parent carer support.

Young Carers and Young Adult Carers MK work with young people aged 8-25 who live within Milton Keynes and have a caring role. We have a brilliant team of dedicated support workers who tailor their approach to suit the needs of the young person they are working with and tackle anything that rises around their caring role. Our services focus on providing respite for carers as well as empowering them to understand and explore their caring role in a supportive environment.

Once a referral is received our team will carry out a getting to know you assessment with the young carer and their family, then as a team we will then decide the best level of support available to them whether this is our universal offering or enhanced offering.
