Relaxed Screenings

These screenings have sensory friendly adjustments which aim to reduce over-stimulation and create a relaxed and welcoming environment. Tickets are limited to reduce the number of people in the cinema and visitors are free to move around the space as needed. No trailers are shown and the hand dryers in the Sky Room toilets are switched off. Sensory Scout Kits, inclusive of ear defenders, will be available upon arrival.

A unique and playful sensory exploration designed especially for individuals of all ages with additional and complex support needs, and their families. Makaton signing used throughout.

Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) is a term used to describe a group of children and young people who experience significant challenges in attending school due to emotional factors, often related to feelings of fear and anxiety.

The SEND Code of Practice says that Schools should follow a graduated approach to identify children who are in need of support and to assess, monitor and secure appropriate support. This workshop provides information on what this might look like in an educational setting and how that setting should support a young person if they don't have an EHCP
