An inclusive SEN session in our Milton Keynes inflatable park for anyone that finds daily life that little bit harder. This could include those with autism, learning difficulties or physical disability.
With lower lighting levels and calmer music in our Inflatable Park. The Special Educational Needs session is suitable for ages 2+ (ages 2 – 5 must always be supervised on a 1:1 basis). One carer goes FREE with every paying participant.
Splash 'n' Play is one of the UK’s largest outdoor splash parks with over 60 unique water features. All of our sessions are designed to be inclusive, but we have created these new dedicated SEN sessions for children who would benefit from a less crowded environment.
Our SEN sessions will run with reduced capacities in place. These sessions are suitable for children up to 16 years of age.
SEND Splash swim sessions
Our inclusive SEND splash swim session includes exclusive use of the whole pool with toys, free play and lowered music levels for one hour. With easy access to the pool, with both ladder and ramp access. These sessions are perfect for children and family or careers to attend.

Sessions run from 3.30 to 5.30pm (this session is not exclusive but SEND children are welcome to come early and stay for the evening session for the same price)
Evening session is exclusive and runs from 5.30 to 7.30pm
Our special needs evenings were introduced in 2009 after customer comments on how best some of our users might access our activities. Started as a pilot scheme in Milton Keynes for local families with children and adults with special needs, this not for profit event quickly became a regular fixture in the local calendar. Brothers, sisters and friends are all welcome to join in the fun after hours with the freedom and comfort of knowing that the time is suited to them.

Relaxed Screening: The Princess and the Frog (U)

These screenings have sensory friendly adjustments which aim to reduce over-stimulation and create a relaxed and welcoming environment. Tickets are limited to reduce the number of people in the cinema and visitors are free to move around the space as needed. No trailers are shown and the hand dryers in the Sky Room toilets are switched off. Sensory Scout Kits, inclusive of ear defenders, will be available upon arrival.

The course will begin by looking at essential legislation, inclusive practice for all and offer practical advice for supporting children and young people with SEND. We will look into what working with a SEND CYP entails and how you can further develop your knowledge and understanding. There will be opportunities for discussion and reflection in this session.
