At Climb Quest, we passionately share an ethos around inclusion for all, running specific Autism friendly and SEND sessions. We support groups and individuals to challenge themselves and promote healthy lifestyle activities. We try and support as many people as possible to try climbing through our regular events, work with charities and groups, and through 1:1 activities.

To help make our Grotto experience as accessible as possible to any families who may require any additional support, we are offering exclusive SEN sessions.
These sessions will be the same unique Grotto experience you would expect from Frosts, with some small adaptations to welcome those with any additional needs. This includes smaller groups of people, reduced lighting and sound, and less display furniture making it easily accessible for all.
Woburn Sands & Willington sessions:
These screenings have sensory friendly adjustments which aim to reduce over-stimulation and create a relaxed and welcoming environment. Tickets are limited to reduce the number of people in the cinema and visitors are free to move around the space as needed. No trailers are shown and the hand dryers in the Sky Room toilets are switched off. Sensory Scout Kits, inclusive of ear defenders, will be available upon arrival.

These sessions will be delivered via Microsoft Teams, an invite will be sent to your email address. You do not have to attend all of the workshops – once the invites are sent out just choose which sessions you would like to attend.

Course summary:
Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) is a term used to describe a group of children and young people who experience significant challenges in attending school due to emotional factors, often related to feelings of fear and anxiety.
We have updated this workshop to include current thinking in the field and new practical support ideas. This workshop aims to support school leaders and school staff to implement evidence and practice-based strategies to support a return to school and stabilise school attendance.
