What is 'Adult Sensory Rhythms'?
Adult Sensory Rhythms is a music-focused session where we explore different elements of music through singing and/or making sounds, instruments and using sensory props.
Each session will include a range of music to sing or play along with, using various handheld percussion. This will include familiar songs as well as music that may be new to participants.
We will use sensory props such as scarves, the giant scrunchie and wrist bells to add a physical element to our exploration of the music. The sessions are all about having fun, exploring sounds, and making music!
This club is aimed at adults with a higher level of support needs and is fantastic for sensory seekers!
A parent/carer is required to remain onsite and actively support each performer in this session.
This a fantastic opportunity to positively engage in an activity together and to strengthen relationships outside of the classes too!
